The First Congregational Church, and to its left, the Soldiers Monument. The Church was built in 1843, and attributed to Sidney M. Stone. The monument was erected in 1885.
View of a church with a tall spire. Designed in the Egyptian Revival style by Minard Lafever, it was built in 1845. The steeple was replaced after it was destroyed by lightning in 1925.
This meetinghouse of the Church of Christ replaced an earlier building that was on this site since 1760. This photo was taken before a porch was added in 1927.
