Description
The effects of the September 21, 1938 hurricane and flood at 26 Hillhouse Avenue. This house at the corner of Hillhouse and Trumbull Streets was built about 1884 by Charles Henry Farnam. It was later bought by Henry S. Parmelee. Philip H. English was born here in 1893. It is now 28 Hillhouse Avenue and is used by Yale's Department of Economics.
